and long-term needs and develop a suitable financial security strategy in your retirement.
After many years in the Financial Services industry, in 2019 Jim Laffin established himself as an
independent agent, setting up J. Laffin Financial. This move has allowed Jim to work in
partnership with his clients to help them achieve their goals, secure their financial protection,
and create the wealth that EVERYONE deserves.

COMMUNITY IS EVERYTHING TO JIM & HIS FAMILY

Jim’s life experience has prompted him to become involved in various organizations and
charities. Realizing that community and family are everything, Jim has been an active member
of the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Association of London and Region since 2017. He
has organized teams of volunteers to cook for the families staying at Ronald McDonald House
while they were visiting their children at the Children’s Hospital in London. He also became a
supporter of the Children’s Health Foundation of London after his son, Liam was diagnosed with
Anemia as a toddler. This required a week of hospitalization in the intensive care unit of
Children’s Hospital and months of follow up care and checkups. Jim understands life’s
challenges because he has been there.
